Thomas Manchester enlisted in the Army (56th C.A.C. Battalion D) on December 17, 1917 and was Honorably Discharged on December 20, 1918.  His Date of Death was listed on the Application for Headstone as May 13, 1923 and he is buried at St. Paul’s Cemetery in Portsmouth, RI.
