Stanley Lawrence Mott moved from Portsmouth, RI to Providence, RI to work as an Instructor for the Packard Motor Car Co. It was stated in his obituary that served in the American Expeditionary Force in France during WWI. He is buried in the Portsmouth Cemetery on Turnpike Avenue, Portsmouth, RI.
