Louis E. Murphy was vice chairman of the Board of Review, electrical examiner for the state Public Utilities Division, engineer for the Newport Electric Corporation and draftsman for the Newport water works. He was a graduate of Rogers High Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Civil Engineering. Louis Murphy is buried in St. Columba’s Cemetery in Middletown, RI.
