John Henry Burrows was born May 21, 1884 and registered for the Military September 12, 1918.  He was employed as a Motor Mechanic for Frederick Webb on East Main Road in Portsmouth, RI in 1918.  He served in the position of a Scribe in the Aquidneck Chapter, No. 9 Royal Arch Masons in Portsmouth, RI (Article was taken from the Newport Mercury Newspaper dated 4 December 1915).
