Dennis V. Murphy served in both the Navy (WWI) and the Army (WWII). He was a claim adjuster in the office of the Fall River Corporation Counsel and assistant plumbing inspector in Fall River, Ma. He was a member of the American Legion, outstanding athlete at Rogers High School and prominent in the Boy Scouts in Fall River, Ma. He is buried in St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Fall River, Ma.
