Alvin Edward Pacheo was born in Portsmouth in 1899 and in later years, moved to Washington, DC. He served in the US Naval Reserve as a Machinist’s Mate 1st Class during World War I. He was stationed at the Kelly Air Field in Texas and also, a flying field in Florida. Alvin Pacheo passed away in 1939 and is buried in Arlington National Cemetery in Section WWW, Grave No. 3999A.
